this is the thread for nerds who play games and like to share whatever they play and discuss games
to start this of i'd like to share one of my favorite games that i found recently:
BRAID
braid is a 2d platformer puzzle game that takes the use of "time" to a whole new level.
if you guys have every played prince of persia: sands of time, you might remember the time shifting
well the creator of braid thought it was too limited so he wanted to be able to reverse in time as much as one would want to
then boom braid happens.
the game is not only reversing in time, but using slowmotion, making the time go synced with your walking(if you walk forward time is normal, if you walk backwards time goes back automatically), and more!
tl;dr
Braid uses revolutionary mechanics that makes it super interesting to play, check it out!
also the art is amazing

this games plot is amazing a swear, read all the books and you'll sit for 20 min when you're finished with the game and just think

Some friends just gave me the game + Arma n shit, but my internet connection is just bad in general for multiplayer games ...
I love DayZ, but it's just not fun playing it with a bad connection. I would love to play it with you when I got my new internet.Also for games I enjoyed recently are for first Starbound. It's a 2d random generated world like minecraft, in which you can have a whole star map to explore. The planets are also randomly generated and you can just fly from one planet to another and every single one of them is different, has different bioms and monsters etc. Next to the exploring character of the game, there are several bosses to beat with which one is able to upgrade the star map to get onto highler level planets (1-10, while 10 is the hardest). There are so many items and armors to explore and it's just awesome. I had like 50 hours playing in it till i reached the "best" tier 10 armor and there's still VERY much to get to "finish" it, what is actually not possible.
My Steam name is alitlefish feel free to add me I got DayZ and the Mod. I prefer playing the mod but occasional play the Standalone.

There's a fairly new game on steam called One Finger Death Punch. Literally the only thing you use are your two mouse buttons (you can use the left and right arrow keys alternatively if you like). It's in a stick figure style and it's kinda Kung Fu-ish. A youtuber I follow called Markiplier played the game and he did a good job at representing it.
