So uh, deadline is from this post. Looks like no-one made the effort to actually complete Round 2. =/

Deadline has been extended by 1 week (13/5/2014 or 5.13.2014).

Any more delays and I will start disqualifying people.

You'd expect a better mod from an organisation that promotes fairplay, coming back and no running.

The objects made it impossible to come back everytime, shitons of random dms occured, dojo made it hard to comeback and if you do you often jump out of the dojo, so you basically lose for playing fair, low as hell gravity+dojo combo is like the worst possible desicion.

Either way, he was definitely better than me in wushu even if most of the matches were based on luck and touching each other once and then flying out of dojo or just never coming back.

Ge ge's. T'was fun tho. :>

How does this mod not promote those things you listed? The objects + dojo makes it kinda, uh, hard to run. Meaning you should play more fairly and not just fling all over the place.

You should've probably practiced the mod before diving straight into it and hoping to win. You had over a week to do so anyhow, and I'm sure a player of your calibre would have no issues with that at all. Or am I wrong?

Random DMs? Nah, if you'd care to look at the damage threshold, it's at a low 200. Quite easy to DM so it's hardly random at all. Just be more careful in low DMT mods.
It's funny you say that most of those matches you did were based on luck and only touching each other once. You should watch over them again, they were pretty nice and close together.

HiPower didn't seem to have any trouble..

I don't mean to start any argument with this ^, but no need to be a sore loser. This event was supposed to show the aspects of wushu and what you can do in different wushu mods, not so someone can rant at an entire org because they lost.

Can't believe you still pulled "a sore loser that rants at an entire org for losing" card. Wow, illiterate plus rude.

Great.

First of all, I didn't even expect to win, wushu is my worst mod and I participate in events like this out of nostalgia and to have some fun. If I wanted to win, I'd train. I just gave feedback, I didn't say the event was bad, I didn't rant at the org. I just said that the mod was 80% based on luck and I can't quite see how the objects help you to come back when you just stick to them and can't get a proper cb position. Oh and take the match where my leg dmd for example. I made a mistake contracting the leg and I was supposed to dm and lose the game, however HiPower touched the ground and his whole(literally whole arm) exploded. Take the kick opener he pulled on me, it was extremely well executed and I was just flying there, doing nothing and being completely defenseless, he kicked me and I got more points than him from that. Say wut. Can't even take one man's opinion without getting butthurt, so what kind of host are you. I didn't even say anything bad.

I'll leave now I guess. Doubt sore loser should post here.
Thanks for the event tho, t'was fun.

I don't understand how I'm butthurt. I got the 'sore loser' from your first opening sentence into your brilliantly well thought out feedback (not brilliant).

I'd expect a little more sarcasm actually.

A lot of people have actually wanted a dojo in wushu to make it more competitive. Where else would you want to compete in competitive wushu than a wushu event?

What kind of host am I? I'm the kind of host that is confused when people say a wushu mod with a dojo isn't competitive. ;>
Good games rcarey ! Even if the mod wasn't the coolest and had like nothing to do with wushu (timeout dq in the dojo wtf?) it was fun anyways.
