Toribash
I only watched that last replay because I'm short on time, but holy hell.

You seem to have perfect notion of what you want to execute on your replays, and you actually do it.
That's very advanced and rare.

Plus, you've got a great sense of creativity and realism.

All that's left is achieving better smoothness and flow. For now your stuff is a slight bit too robotic.

I'll be checking this thread regularly to see how you improve.
You're definitely one of the most promising upcoming replay-makers.

I agree with Oblivion, I see so much potential in you. The moves that you actually go and pull of is just amazing, And that it is twitchy and slightly robotic is pretty much the only thing you need improving forwards in time. But a tip, Don't sit with going for it to much right now, Get going with doing these kinda things like you do.Get a large storage of moves wich you later on can work with to improve with flow and realism.

For the last replay, You immitated King just spot on, No words for that.
For blackwidow. Those grapling moves are simply sick, Blew my mind.
Looks stylish. It's awesome setups towards the moves. the only negative thing about your replays is the slight roboticness. Otherwise i would really really agree with oblivion on that you are one really promising replay maker towards the future.
Looking forward to seing more of your work and seing the improvements on this.

Going to drop by and coment on so much i can to help out.

Yes pleas keep giving me advises. It helps out. especially When you specify a part you wish to see done better ^^ . I am though working on combining more smoothness with realistic moves and stances. Its a bit hard.

Thank you for liking and recognizing the charachters in my replays.
hehe dont worry. I wont be sitting to go for it too much. Just playing this
alot to relax myself during fkng Exams .

So Oblivion let me tell you a Story. im gonna sit on the red chair now like on the Graham Northon show. So here it goes

When I was a a beginner i Never thought that toribash realism was possible.
so i watched some youtube movies of replays made by mochucha. The first scene that really
caught me was the scene where this black Toribash flew over a sweep
by doing Butterfly. Later on in the clip I saw the same toribash running
then flipping to final backwards salto. Those scenes really inspired me
to try to do moves i know how to do.

One day in a Tourney ( 5 months ago or smthing) This person with the acc name Oblivion came in. everyone in the server was like.. oh my Its oblivion,
Are you really oblivion , ohh the Goddd and so on. I was like jeez wtf
is the big deal, this guy thinks hes a big deal. I asked ' yo are you good ?'
You said somthing normal that didn't sound cocky. So this other guy said
o-m-g you dont know oblivion ? look him up on youtube.'

So i youtubed ' oblivion' and i realised it was you that actually you
that inspired me that moment at the beginning. so just said to myself.. ohh

SO what i can say is that its kinda of an honour to see your comment.
thanx for the feedback and enjoying my replay

Damn, it makes me really happy to know that I was able to be a positive influence like that.
Thanks for letting me know.

Years ago it was Dragenon, Nightin and NutHug inspiring me so it's particularly joyful to see how the cycle continues.
Your time to shine now? Good luck ;)

Life got a bit too hectic and my patience too drained to finish stuff, unfortunately. Maybe in the summer I can find a bit to honor old times.
This was my only thread: http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=162821
I never posted different ones because I wanted it to be fully able to show how I improved through the time, so the first pages are obviously filled with very very old stuff.

I only ever played Tekken 3 so I'd say the combo at 2:30 is pretty cool: http://youtu.be/u0RkN447A_U?t=2m30s

I don't like bumping a thread from a few days ago too much but I figured I could try to give an actual decent and unbiased opinion since you were nice enough to comment positively on my replay thread despite whatever blah blah anyway so to the black widow versus tekken whoever, while I can't really comment on the styles you were trying to imitate since I've never played tekken outside of the pizza place with the little arcade, but I can give my opinion on how it looks.. I think you might need to spend a little more time with your replays, that being said you do pull off some pretty neat stuff. I really like the first kick uke does, it wasn't greatly setup but it was executed nicely, the reaction from tori was really well pulled off imo, hand motion uke pulls off, man that was cool. I'm not gonna sit here and list off all the moments I like in the replay cuz i'm too lazy, but I'll leave you with this piece of advice, I think if you're really trying to achieve realism, really capture it, you're going to have to invest a lot of time into the game, I'm pretty sure oblivions famous sparring replay took a month or something, or so I've heard. correct me if I'm wrong. though as much as you do right in that replay, you also manage to not do so well, for example the head drop thing, you aren't really moving fast enough downward to realistically to anything to a persons head, it doesn't look that life-like as a result. you have a lot of room for improvement, and you're already pulling off kinda neat stuff, so yeah. I'm not really used to writing a lot of words and stuff so if anything that I've said is unclear then please let me know.
wow that
sucked

haha thanks for liking it man. yeah and i wish i had more time like that
. oh but i know realism is not possible in toribash. its just
how close you can get. I hate to say it, but the ONly i mean really the only most realistic scenes ive seen in this game is,

-Oblivions butterfly over a sweep,
-and his running to a salto,
-and your b-twist

reason for this is just that they are existing moves in the sport.
that regardless the fact that some parts are slighty twitchy or too loosen.

I hope more replays like your b twist and oblivions stuff come more often.
But its growing though, now thers also Jisse who also started making spars basing on real affence moves for example.

These ones are what I really find worth watching and commenting.
I mean i really dont get how those other players put that much of a comment on a replay thats just about bashing uke apart , and how
'' Fluiid'' that should looks.. it feels like the more the tori moves
like Woody (toystorry) with a loosen neck for example, the better it is .
but wth, its a fetish of another group. not my world.
