[VID] Matarika: The Assassin
Was bored so i threw together a short like 5 something replay video, experimenting with darker colors and shades. Please don't make comments on the slow motion, because i'm aware of its lag, and theres nothing i can do currently about that. Enjoy the video. I hope the ending scene isn't confusing, i realized it was later on xD, with all the changing shots. Somethings it was too late to change.

If the replays weren't amazingly bad I'd say you have improved.
If you know slow motion lags , why put the twixtor speed down that much ???
I hate this kind of music.
You're fanboying mocucha to hard and he's not even good.

Im just tired of everybody using Trap, and Dubstep, but i do like that type of music i used, (immediate music, Cinematic, Classical, Epic Ochestra) Im not just using it to feed my fangirl addiction to Mocucha, I get that many people are losing intrest in Mocuchas videos, but there are still many who like to take breaks from the usual editing style of fast paced Mad-mans. It's not that Mocucha is getting bad, it's just he's one of the only ones who does what he does, so many people arent seeing many "other Mocuchas" so they get tired of him. I just didn't want to become another Sly Kuiper/Tyzi wanna be. I'm just experiementing with new things, and if you guys don't like it, i wont revert back to an old style, i will keep trying new things.

I'd rather you become Sly or Tyzi than mocucha.
He's bad.
Trendy is what earns money//views.

How about Mocucha is horrible at execution.

itt people who think anecdotal posts are funny/helpful

anyway i think the video could have used better freecam, it seems like you made the camera far enough to "see the whole scene", but close ups are useful aswell. i think the reason you didnt want to show too much detail was the fact that the replays were not very excellent and it would show flaws in them

the music and just overall tone of the video made it seem like it took itself too seriously, almost making it slightly funny. it was trying to be all epic and stuff with the song but the epicness died because the editing wasnt epic in quality. effects were minimal aswell, and while i dont like useless gibberish to throw in whenever the audio forms a spike, i do enjoy well placed minimal classic effects such as slight screen shaking or a bit of glow to go with the sync

Mocuchas problem isnt the execution, its that his ideas are very cinematic but sometimes the video takes itself too seriously. its also difficult for him to keep his simple style and make his videos look different from eachother and new. posting in the art board while knowing nothing ever about videos is fine but dont make up stuff please

I like these videos, I have no problem with the music, just the sync is bad and replays as well. But I like your mindset and with enough practice you'll be making awesome videos, keep it up.

When i try to be original people are saying, oh you should try more of this...or you should do more of that, i don't like this and that, like really picky personal stuff.

Then when i try to be 'trendy' people call me copier, and show me that the song i used has been already used, or that i'm copying after Mocucha. So what i like Mocucha's videos, you can't change my preference, you can say he sucks, you can say he's bad, but it's wrong to try to forcefully change someones opinion, let me do my thing, and you do yours. Focus on things like the quality of the video, not who I'm trying to be or who i like.

I enjoy Sly Kuipers videos as well, but that doesn't mean i have to choose sides. I'm just not into making videos with tons of effects, like the majority of videos out there. I just take a liking to Mocucha's style because it's calmer, and more cinematic, and thats what i like, and it looks awesome without having a bunch of effects thrown in. I just like doing calmer more cinematic films, but all the Cnc I get is trying to push me towards a style i do not enjoy.

The best styles don't always start off loved, i'm just experimenting until i hit the nail right on the head, of the style i want to pursue.
Some times you guys gotta adapt, instead of looking for whats trendy and Cool, and shutting down whats Unfamiliar.

You can find your own songs on youtube and souncloud.
