i like leg sweeps because they r powerful, effective, and hard as hell to counter in a ton of situations, unlike most throws

not exactly a fluid or orthodox leg sweep but cool nonetheless, mostly because imo nothing is cooler than styling on a kid who's trying hard to win

hey, thats really nice stuff, and while it is in fact not a throw, you use throw elements as basis, which mean at some point (i hope soon) throws will be tier 2 or even tier 3 requirement and we will have something more advanced for T1.

seriously need to play with you a little, if you found a way to execute this on more or less regular basis

How to do: get your leg behind him without loosing balance: opposite direction of abs and hip of leg behind. -> dq his back

Danger: If you dont have abs and hip on opposite direction so that you dont lose balance you can easily get suplexed and/or reversed.

really hard to ghasp without seeing, can you post a replay?

EDIT: i thought you are talking about different replay

here's my opinion: the 5 or 6 skills you require for tier 1 are good in that they are not necessarily intuitive or easy (in toribash), and anyone that learns them is demonstrating a willingness to dedicate time and serious thought to improving their skill.

that said, mastering someone else's tricks does not make them a top-tier player.

i dont really see a way for the tier system to be objective. imo the development of new techniques for effective and stylish play is almost exclusively what makes a tier 1 player.

anyway, re: showing you how i do this move-
it probably wouldn't be very fun for you so i'll just explain it. unfortunately, 9 times out of 10, the most effective way to get into this position is to start with a straight lift/kicklift. as your opponent pulls themselves in to counter, you pull yourself in and get one leg behind them. this leg is used to sweep their legs before they can get their feet on the ground.

i dont have any replays of it atm but possessed's replay in the OP is a decent example. huge kicklift followed by powerful but imperfect slam

thats the idea

well we have it as requirement, so it's here.

I liked the willpower of snake and Neko to change and making a "new face" to the org with the merge. But I think that the tiers system have to be rewritten or just edited, just to be more clear in the points like "you just need to be able to do those things as a challenge and not to be your new playstyle or some shit like this".

I think TA + TABD + Bushido have the same idea of be creative and improve as much as possible, and we need to reinforce this idea. I don't think that pointing some moves could encourage the creativity.
Nice tries, glad you're liking it.
With proper suplexes you don't want to spin around for a throw, you want them to go straight over your head. In the best case scenario, they'll try lowering their arms at the same time you lower yours and contract your elbows making them dq straight onto their neck. A decap or neck frac means you did a great job.

By the way, guys, we (by we I mean snake ;d ) only give you guys 'tricks'/techniques to master so you have a goal to strive for into becoming a top-tiered player in bushido. If you find a new technique or a skill/move that you can actually do without some random luck, please tell us and we'll go about it adding it to the tiers. It's not all about full throws and whatever else, this is just a stepping stone for you guys to venture out and find new ways of playing this mod.
To: MindStorm

First of all, infact leader, and second you are out. My patience on you is over, if you will show up here again - you will get reported.

Get out.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: on actual topic,

if anyone want to make a suggestion it should be something concrete:

i think A technique should be on tier # list, while you should add B to # tier.

or something like that without hysteria "snk u dun lisn" "rvlushn snk u no lidur", "snk fint soluzun 4 idk wat"

as i said earlier, all suggestions are welcome, if you want something to be improved - write down how, simply telling "change something, idk what" and "u r lidur - figre urslev, while we whine" are not concrete suggestions.

TA mission is to:
encourage players to try whole variety of aikido mods, instead of abd 24/7
encourage players to try and learn new techniques,
encourage players to be creative and develop new techniques,

ranking should be transparent and objective by being based on concrete requiremets in it's core, instead of entirely relying on opinions of members, concil or even leaders, so appliacant can check if he is meeting requirements or not, by comparing his skills with open table of requirements.
example: can do A - ranked up, can't do A - no rank up.

this is the current core idea / mission, and it's going to stay, but how it can be achieved is a question to change.

okay, so we had a long session today with holo

we started with trying to get leg sweep done

leg_sweep_try1.rpl
leg_sweep_try2.rpl

then i thought that it's still similar to one of the things i've done before (hip throw)

i reminded holo about legs and torso position to execute hip throw from opener

and then we found a way to get a hip throw from noobclap and i decided to combine it with leg sweep a bit, so here how it looks
no lift required for this one

opinions on last one?

i think this is probably the solution i will go for, just need to figure out the way to get more stable balance and i guess this technique will become as effective as throws are after couple of months exclusive use.
for some reason feels simplified, don't know what exactly wrong, but i will work on it a bit more.

i see, you get it on a side, should try that.

well, honestly, we just need to spend a bit more time trying to get this leg and torso positioning out of clap, just to keep the integrity, it is pretty much possible even in mid-game, so yeah, glad you like this way
