Toribash
I'd hate to bring in some more TeamWushu stuff to bore you guys with, but how about similar classifications to their stuff?

Classification:

example - T1_R_B_S_O
read as: Tier 1, relax, bushido, style, original
T# - your current tier

~preferable grab on opener~
R - relax
C - contract
E - extend
H - hold

~preferable play-style~
A - aggressive (kicks, knees, etc)
D - defensive (counters, suplexes, etc)
B - bushido (full throws, developing new bushido techniques)

~preferable movement style~
E - effective (solely focused on winning)
S - style (focused on giving a beautiful replay without caring for the win)
Q - combined (focused on winning with style)

~preferable dojo type~
B - big dojo (for those abd fans)
O - classic aikido.tbm dojo (regular square dojo)
G - greykido (rounded or square dojo)
S - for the spiritwrestling fans (round dojo)

Any other ideas or improvements to this? ^

I do think it's important to specify whether you go for damage or prefer self damage only.
Also by greykido dojo, do you mean dojos with objects, like minekido and that other mod with a lot of objects and stuff? Cause rounded or square dojo doesn't say very much.

Yeah wasn't sure whether to put relax and hold because some players prefer to do those things, the more simpler it is the easier it is to understand though.
I wasn't sure by damage if you meant just attacking as much as you can or not, forgot about the actual damage option. We don't want to have classifications to be too long though.
By round and square dojo I meant greykido.tbm and rb_greykido.tbm, but now that you're mentioning objects, that classification can be changed to suit that, thanks for the idea.

Example-ish:
Agressive tier: maximising damage, attempting takedowns in a chain, breaking joints on demand
Defensive: countering moves, absorbing force, counter-throwing (aka throw save)
Bushido: you already know why are you reading this?

You've given me a great idea: how about we have 3 separate tiers for each type of play, and then an ultimate tier for those that master all 3?
If anyone could just post some skills that you need to play in aggressive/defensive style that'd be great, we could start working on tiers for those catergories soon after.

Ah yes I was thinking about players that go random openers on first turn then forgot as I started writing, good idea about dojos too.

Yeah when we have classifications all worked out maybe we can add it to info thread and whatnot.

1st, no yellow color, and all letters should be different

still don't like it for some reason, it's more of player's preferences other than a style description.

i will come to think about this again at some point, but i'm strongly against this type of desc as it is now.

there are in fact differences in execution by different people, but i can't nail it as precisely as it is for wushu (wushu is really easy in this sense), while in aikido you can see the difference by joints utilized

RAFS etc make sense for wushu as there are multiple engagements and people infact play different, while aikido is mostly about getting one or another move done correctly.

style / effectivity is also a bit off, as you always try to execute technique you chosen with maximum effectivity. there is no time or space for decoration elements like backflips or spins

strench them with one arm up and another down, and just keep balance standing on opposite leg.

can't really check replays, but the example is eather

this one

the one which is slower

Hi guys,

So as you may have noticed in the past few weeks. I'm really inactive right now, I have a really hectic school like as it's my final year and more problems at home to boot.

Right now I just don't have time for Toribash and as an extension, you guys. So with a heavy heart I've decided my time's up. I'm resigning as a leader of TA. I'm sure Snake and Kingsta will do fine choosing a new leader but if you want to make sure they know you're available send them a pm telling them why you'd make a great leader.

I'm sorry for having to do this, but TA has been given a new life. It's evolved. But you guys can do so much more, you're all amazing and will continue to do great things. With or without me.

Much love, Kris.

I'm sure that you'll be back soon, Neko. Good luck in whatever you need to do. I know how is the situation of the "last year of school". I'm on the same boat.
