About me:
I have always been into art and i have always found beauty in nearly every thing in life. Even blood, and death has its beauty in its own way. Sad things are sad, happy things are happy, cruel things are cruel, scary things are scary, etc. No matter how something makes you feel, to me it is all apart of art. Art is supposed to connect an emotion with the drawing, painting, etc. Without the emotion, how can you tell if you like or dislike something? You might not even dislike an artwork because it is horribly drawn, but because it may not appeal to the emotions you are comfortable to. That's how I feel about art.


I do mostly pencil drawings, however I can paint and use other forms of mediums. I am willing to do requested realistic pencil drawings depending on four circumstances.

1. Am I motivated to draw it. (do I like the idea of it)
2. Do I currently have the time to commit myself to the drawing.
3. Is the reference picture clear enough to make out details, etc.
4. Do I feel that I can successfully draw it.

I will respect any and all CnC as long as it actually adds something useful to how I can improve, or what I did correctly and why you think I did it correctly.

Thank you, my mother actually showed the painting around to my neighbors and they offered to buy it but i'm too emotionally attached to it. lol
It's on a 11" x 14" canvas, so it's a few inches bigger than a regular sheet of paper.

Currently still working on the drawing for my special someone.

EDIT: I noticed the lips were a little to curvy so I fixed that :s

Looking good so far, but, her right eye seems to be the wrong shape, tilted and rather sinister compared to the real picture. Eyes are pretty hard to get right though, so, I don't blame you if you can't get it exact. Good luck

Thanks, I actually did notice that her one eye was actually a little bit off, but I was already to far into the drawing process to erase it.

I don't think its that far off though, and it might just be me but the shading in the eye could also use some work. Thanks for the feedback.

Yea, I still need to add a few small but major details to make the eyes look more realistic. Thank you for letting me know.
Hopefully I can work on it after I'm finished with my english homework.

Great job on those man! The portrait of the girl looks great so far. Id get some deeper values in to really deepen the contrast, but its a wip. Keep it up, looks great so far.

Hopefully I've finished it, I will look it over probably when I wake up and see if there are a few things I can adjust pretty simply without starting over an entire section.

I noticed that when I got home today... Idk if I really wanna fix it though. i might.

However, now that I'm not really working on that project anymore I am willing to do someone's suggestion drawing. I prefer realism drawings like portraits, etc. I may do animals but my fur is not the best.

Panda, after doing a lot of animal drawings i would suggest starting with short haired animals. But the best thing to do with hair is just to shade the dark spots and then add highlights. After that start adding hair and let your wrists do the job. It looks hard, but you get used to it after 2-3 pictures. Hope this help with your hair problems. Btw, i would love to see some animal drawing
