Dikarika tournament *re-try*
I am starting a new thread. Anybody who signed up before is also signed up here. Some people have since gotten keys and will be removed from the list. New players may be added, but the tournament time is still unknown.

There will be more tournaments to follow....

Entrants:
Kyselina
Aff3
lotto
Ari (Shadoware)
KillerCombat (SevenDuck)
NejiRyo
'Timuchen
Closer
MASSRI
Razelion
Baku
Ninja_Man
Flash35 (MrBadguy)
Rage
CitisenSnips
guitarookid
blob
Legalas
Kalazrob
Kira

I'm thinking of changing the mode this time for this tourney, and also need to get a good time and date for the tourney. There will be multiple (at least 4 tournaments as of now, perhaps more ) chances to win a reg key, and there are other prizes perhaps to be given away. Also, my clan [Guru] may want to get involved and offer some items for future tournaments. This thread is only for this tournament. Other threads will be created for future tournaments. I'm at 20 entrants (as of kira), and i'm willing to hit a max of 20 per tournament. Due to the snag of the last tourney (which led to a mini "test" tournament), all those that applied are automatically re-entered. PM me if you want to be removed. I'd like to discuss a good time for this tournament to be held. I am thinking Saturday may 19th, or maybe i'll chat with Mahatma about his contest's setup as to not worry about set times... We shall see, but I'd rather hold a true bracketed tournament.

My only requirement is they have a forum account...

Its how I distribute the keys...

Re: Dikarika tournament *re-try*
Unfortunately this weekend of May 19th won't work for a true bracketed tournament. I have PM-ed both Hampa and Mahatma about setting up an open 24 hour competition. I need to either get the script from Hampa, or get the OK for me to send him the results. The server log would need to be parsed to determine a winner based on wins/losses, etc. (I think) I have installed the perl base needed to run the scripts myself, but hampa is busy, and I try to bother him as little as I need to. As soon as I get an answer from him, we may have a "Open Competition" for a reg key, with a bracketed tournament still to come. I'll try to be as prompt as I can in getting you all an answer.

Re: Dikarika tournament *re-try*
There was an updated post saying the tournament is on for NEXT SATURDAY...

Sorry if it got buried already...

My tournaments are not fake, and if you continue to complain, its at my discretion to not invite you. I apologize that the tournament was postponed again, but this is a service from me to you, and although my idea is noble, my patience is not.

Please bear with the delay, and good luck when the fighting occurs...

Besides, 2 people have already won reg keys from me, 3 more keys are currently available. This number may increase at any time.

Re: Dikarika tournament *re-try*
OK, here is what I'm trying for:

I'd like a bracketed style tournament on Saturday May 26th. I am trying to squeeze this into my Saturday schedule (tournament, RL stuff, PSP in league semifinals). I'd like to go earlier than the previous tournament that failed due to my schedule issues. I'd be like to start as early as 8:00AM EDT (12:00PM GMT NOON). Since most of my tournament entrants are European, this should not pose too large a problem. Please post what time is preferred. I'll take resonable time changes under advisement. I'd really like to finally get initial tournament completed. Mode will probably be league style judo fracture, single elimination. All on the list will be invited. Once the tournament time is reached, I may give your spot to a random person on the demo servers to keep the brackets filled. BE ON TIME OR EARLY. The server for the tournament will be running prior to the tournament start. Remember, the prize is a key, any many will be fighting hard for this prize. Good Luck to all.

Re: Dikarika tournament *re-try*
This tournament has officially ended...

Turnout was frankly, disappointing...

Out of 21 original hopefuls, only six showed up...

I'll have a replay pack of the event to be posted soon.

Here is the results:
Winner: d[1]mka (registration key winner)
2nd place: Baku
3rd: Timuchen/Legalas (didn't have a 3rd place match)

Others who participated:
Ninja_Man
Ari

Just wish I had a bigger turnout.
