8 GB be gud, Intel suks, AMD fanboay

Hey. Don't insult my intel tower that lacks a graphics card, only has 4 ram, and runs off of everything intel.
Here's a pic...

To put it's size in perspective. It's roughly as tall as my forearm.

CPU: Intel Celeron G550 2.60GHz Dual core
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 640 2GB
Ram: 12GB (1x8 1x4)
Motherboard: Asus P8H61 -MX R2.0

Planning on upgrading to a geforce 660 4GB and an AMD FX-4300 3.80GHz Quad Core

To bottleneck your CPU you require to have a pretty bad one to start with. It's rare that you get bottlenecks for anything with more than 3-4 GHz

You're right. It is a laptop (the HQ part of the CPU name is only for laptop processors, it means it can load graphics quicker) but for all you know it could be an Octo-Core.

Never judge a CPU by it's GHz, GHz only show the amount of instructions it can execute in one second (1 GHz = 1,000,000,000 instructions a second so we need to do 2.4 x 1,000,000,000 x amount of cores it has, in this case 8 to work out how many calculations a second his CPU can do. It's 19,200,000,000 if it had 8 cores). Consider this, 1 strong man wouldn't be able to fight off 8 average men. A CPU works the same, if there's 8 cores then that separates the workload between them like having 8 men carrying something instead of 1.

Do you know what the worst part abut having a monitor break when you're used to using 2. The feeling that you can't multitask. Same goes with monitors, when you go up in size it's hard to downgrade back to an office-sized monitor.

Still though, dual monitor master race, huzahhh.

I'd say mine is okay, it runs what I need it to.
Not really sure how good/bad it is though. Would like to make it better eventually.
