That's evidence of people living in countries with sharia, which I already know.
I simply ask for evidence that women in those countries consider themselves"oppressed".
And proof that millions of them feel the same way.

Proof please!

How many times do I have to say this? You can consider yourself being not oppressed, while at the same time, being oppressed. There is a difference (that you need to learn) between institutionalised oppression, and the feeling of oppression. There is a difference between perception and reality.
You are not allowed drive above a certain speed limit, do you consider yourself oppressed? No, but you actually are being oppressed. This is what you are saying, and isn't a huge problem in reality.

Still, I guess evidence goes against your arguments, which is why you don't want to provide any.

There is a difference between evidence and opinion.

There is a difference (that you need to learn) between institutionalised oppression, and the feeling of oppression.

Institutionalised oppression is not some concept I've made up. It isn't an opinion. It also isn't the feeling of oppression. They are two different things.

You are saying that if people don't feel oppressed, then they aren't under any kind of institutionalised oppression. They are. Sharia law is institutionalised oppression. Women don't have the free will to leave the house or get a job.

I've provided the evidence that shows how many women are subject to institutionalised oppression. Don't respond to this again by saying, "well hurr, give me evidence that women don't like being oppressed", because, as I've just explained, that doesn't fucking matter. They're living under institutionalised oppression, regardless of whether they'd like to or not.
Ok, they are ok with it and living happily and peacefully, and it's working(unless you can prove otherwise which I have been requesting for the last 5 posts). So what's your problem? You don't need to fix something that's not broken. Unless you can prove that it's broken, which you seem to avoid.

And I'd like to congratulate this thread from moving from"oppression" to "institutional oppression". We are making progress.

My problem is 210 million women are being oppressed and I can guarentee you that some of them don't want to be. How is that not clear?

I'm pretty sure what I said about you earlier in this thread is true. "You're clearly on one side with your bias, and you're clearly either not mature enough to engage in a reasonable discussion, or you just lack the knowledge/capacity to understand what we're going on about."

In response to me saying that feeling oppressed and being oppressed aren't the same thing, you instantly responded with "Well they feel OK with it, so what's the problem?". Do you see how ridiculous you're being?

Evidence is clearer than opinions and"guarentees".

You're telling me that out of 210 million women, not a million of them (hell, not one of them) don't like being oppressed? Having a lack of free will isn't generally an agreeable position to be in. If that's what you're saying, I'd like to see your evidence.

I edited this into my last response, but I don't want you to miss it or skip over it. You're telling me that you can't find one evidence of one woman out 200 million who is being oppressed? Surely out of 200 million there would be atleast one who has the same opinion as yours, I simply ask you to prove it.

As I said earlier, I will post links once I get on a computer this weekend.
