For sure I never understood why you can't buy it. Qi should be ristricted for wearing. Some might feel that only higher ranks should be able to deal with those items on the market. I disagree, I'm all for this.

It wouldnt make them more common, as the shop would not stock more, also the increase in demand would increase the price

The demand would increase as more people would want to buy the items as they could carry them, the shop stock would run out so supply would stay roughly the same. The number of people selling the items would not change much as the shop stock is carefully controlled so the price should go up if anything

I don't think it's quite about shop stock, It's more or less an inflation ordeal. The more of the item floating about, the less its value. So, I don't really support the idea, since it would negate the point of marketing it if it's value decreased.

I still don't understand how the "supply could increase" if there was no stock as there are no items to buy so supply is still low, however there are still more people wanting to buy it so demand is high

Not all of those people have the tc to buy them.
Not all of them with qi and tc want to buy them.
This makes only a few people buying and selling the high qi items, which makes it more valuable.
If everybody can buy it, it changes from 100 people to 10000 people that buy them (wild guess)
As if more marketeers will own it, the lower the price will go in the Buying threads.
Means price will drop.

Sounds logical to me.


More people selling - lower price
More people buying - higher price

The number of people wanting to buy will increase more than the bnumber of people wanting to sell, price rise (?)
