im not sure authorities and big anime companies give a shit that Americans watch for free... if they did they woulda taken steps to stop it, instead they are making cheap parodies of the show in hopes to getting more views (i cite the sword art OnlineII: sword art offline.) if they wanted our american monies, they woulda taken a stand on the free anime sites, and set up some anime stations over here.
no offence to anyone who likes sword art online II: sword art offline, i just think it's a desperate grab for money and has no other purpose.
