Not sure if the drawing would have to match the pictures of the people exactly or whether the drawing would be allowed as long as the person they were drawing is recognisable.
What do you think?
Along a similar kind of vein, what if people submitted their pictures and then the other person had to 'Torify' them - draw them as a tori? Or make them a head based on them?
Some problems with this, and your idea, is that there'd be no standard. By this I mean everybody's going to have some different to start with. Because everyone's got something different, it'll be hard to compare the results - apples and oranges, that kind of thing. If everybody was working off the same picture, then it'd be easier, but it'd also defeat half the purpose of the event (getting some art done of yourself).
I'm keen for an event that's clan focused, so I like Chaos's multifaceted idea (to find the best well-rounded clan). Some sort of ultimate clan competition that tests mp, sp and art. Maybe some kind of knockout tourney to determine the top 8, then some art contest to determing top 4 before a madman/whatever replay contest to determine the winner. If a member competes in one component they can't compete in any others.
I dunno... thoughts (on everything)?
