'Difficult game with cool artwork' + Pokemon. Pick one. Pokemon hasn't ever been hard, and the newest versions have been made easier than ever (really gotta turn off exp. share in the new versions). As for artwork... well, remember that retarded icecream pokemon they made?

You want to play a Shin Megami Tensei or Persona game, man. It's like adult pokemon with bosses that'll pound you til' you bleed. Really cool monster designs and everything too. As a childhood pokemon fan, when I started playing SMT and Persona, I was in nirvana.

I agree with Ele to an extent about Pokemon. I started playing Pokemon a while back and I decided to work from gen one to gen six. Gen one of my child-hood memories so Pokemon red is close to my heart. To answer your question about which Pokemon game to chose I would honestly pick the newest one Ruby and Sapphire. They have the best graphics so far and the fact that it's a revamp of an older game makes it even better. Now that I'm done with my little rant I'll tell you that X and Y's new Pokemon suck ass. Stay away from those damn games.

Yeah, logically you'd think it wouldn't allow you to, but the 'wonder trade' feature doesn't follow it at all. I did it as soon as I could (right after you get pokeballs) so I swapped about 10 zigzagoons for multiple gen starters + low lvl dragons. Brings a bit of variety to the game, ya know?

I really liked the head that you had already made but as you said I already had something in mind. Speaking of Pokemon I need to get together some money and then I need to buy Omega Sapphire.
