Well, the song I look forward to the most on my current playlist is Viva la Vida by Coldplay. It's such a good song imo. I just it's just the story-like feel to it, and how catchy it is. I usually catch himself mumbling it or whistling it leisurely.

For anyone who hasn't already heard it, here.

@cariboon, haven't seen f&f7 and am not planning to, but, it's nice to see there is a song on there that is practically a tribute to walker.
@rawwrh, RHCP have many good tracks, but, I wouldn't say give it away is my favourite, something like by the way or scar tissue may be my favourite from them though.
@hydra, I agree viva la vida is probably the best coldplay song, and the violins work very well in it, but, coldplay seem to be one hit wonders most of the time with filler tracks for the rest of the album, but, they do have alot of good singles such as talk.

after getting the recommendations from cocacolacobra I've been really liking alot of metric and bloc party music, and this is one of the best songs I've heard in quite a while. the duet guitars really work and creates an insanely good sound partnered with the fast lyrics.

@Skylar the begin was kinda suck but its pretty cool in weird way.

anyway i didn't listen to skillet from like 2 years and this is some of thei're things i just found.

this modern love made me really happy when I first heard it with the soft lyrics, beautiful instrument composition and the ending was really satisfying since other bloc party songs end a bit abrupt which annoyed me a little.
on a slow night is pretty awesome especially the intrumental, maybe a favourite from OWUWAYN.
that's where you're wrong is definitely one of my favourites from SIAS since it just works so well compared to some of the songs on the same album.

so I thought we should do a weekly 'event' with some edgy name such as SHUFFLE SATURDAY where we go to itunes/spotify/ wherever you store your music and we use the shuffle option to pick out a random song which we subsequently post here along with one sentence on your opinion about it.

the fratellis are a strange band since they either have songs I really like, or those that i really don't care about, so I don't have many downloaded from them, but, this one feels arctic monkeys old style, with a bittersweet scottish twist which results in something very nice.

Wow, really? Never listened to an eminem song Rune? He's probably one of the best rappers in my opinion. His songs aren't cliche, and he actually is the better side of rap. I'm glad you liked it though P:

maybe it's just because Coldplay is so magnificent, all their music makes you cry with the sheer beauty.

@rawwrh, first song seemed like something i'd here while getting lost in the snow in skyrim
second sounded like a 'tense' build up to a scare in some horror flick
third one sounded creepy and evil
not bad though, but, not for me.

Honestly I'm quite disappointed with the current music industry. (or atleast the pop section)

Alot of pop artists don't even write their own song, and their lyrics are incredibly repetitive or unoriginal.

Of course there's a way bigger amount of music being made that's actually original.

Also I'm not going to any concert, never have and probably never will.
I'm not too fond of huge crowds and standing for a long time hah.
