Uh, I don't think everyone understood my proposition;
Everyone would discuss the applicant, in the application thread, then after a week ( or something ) of discussion everyone would would cast their vote, yes or no.
Well, looking the conversation I thought you were suggesting we start judging applications in secret.

However, if you proposition is to discuss the applicant in the recruitment thread and after an amount of time give a verdict, I think it's good, since we just did it with Nick and Rogo and everything ocurred decently.

I was about to say Galaxy that's basically what we did with Rogo and Nick.

I agree with Hawke, we were discussing it on irc and my opinion is the same as his. That isn't the first time people are invited without all members concerns, and that is the only problem I have noticed here. I like we are getting new members, I personally have nothing agains't the new guys, for I posted the welcome thread. But we need to improve the invinte process, which is very easy to do. We just need to ask for all members opinions and see wheter anyone has or not an obejction when inviting people; don't need to change the squad neither the council jobs ;)

I'm also a tad bit confused about how that system was a little bit avoided but I'm very happy that Zock and Tact joined the group.

Alright, ya'll seem worried/upset/confused about the invitation of Zock and Tacticaled. It was done over the council's head, and in the future, we'll make sure to include the council (you can calm your tits, ego).
The council system and the group discussions we have now are fine. Nobody will going over the council's head and inviting people from now on.
This might sound like a crazy idea but I want to make an organization called Bushido. Bushido was the honor code of the samurai and some warrior monks around the time of feudal Japan. The main goal of the group would be to copy a real life martial art and use it in Toribash while making it look cool.. We would be using the techniques in mods such as xspar and other realistic mods.

We would mainly be an elitist group and only accept people who could use a real martial art in Toribash. But you also wouldn't have to specialize in realistic fighting you could also be the organization's art director or replay maker.

I think this idea would be very hard to pull together but if we execute it well I think it could turn out decently.

Now that we have such a healthy bank, I thought about something Sigma used to do with their bank. It's basically a loan system for their clan. People posted how much they needed, what it was for, and when they could pay it back by. iirc, both items and TC were loaned by the bank. Would anyone be interested in having a similar system in place here? It could be made to service the members (no interest rate) or made to service the bank (make profit off of interest).
