I don't understand your reasoning. If you "love" music surely you'd want to support your favourite artists?

artists whose music you cant find online are the only ones who actually need support from all of their fans. people who are popular enough to have their music uploaded are almost always famous enough to make a living. rutracker is love rutracker is life

What is your favourite period/ years of music and state why exactly that is the case, also provide a song from that year/s.

in this case for me it has to be the years 2004/2005/2006, but mostly 2005/2006, since these are the years where alot of my favourite music artists made their debut(bloc party, arctic monkeys, etc)/their best album (like stroke's first impression's of earth, imo)/a very good album either way.
I felt that it was a series of very solid and impressive music with standards that I wish more of today's music would reach the standard that was common to indie/alternative rock in those years.

i can pretty much go for any song from bloc party's/franz/arctic monkeys etc debut and it would be a good example, but, for this instance i'll post this beauty from bloc party's 2005 debut album 'Silent Alarm'.

this song feels like a bit of an anomaly, and at first listen i hated the french singing in it, but, it really warmed to me with the calm electro club music accompanying the lyrics.
