Thinking about Locus's recent discussion thread - we're looking for strong personalities now. I'm not sure if Static is a strong personality.

Now that I think about it Redundant sort of does have a point but I still think t hat we should at least give him a chance to prove himself before we jump on him.

As for Redundant's overview of Static I would actaully enjoy if you put more time into making one of those for each of us. ;)

Isn't the point of an application to find out whether he can win us over? The point of the trial period is to weed out new people that aren't cool enough.

Okay, okay that is a good reason but just how it looks like from my prospective it looks like we've been jumping on him. Though I haven't seen him lately so that's another -2 points to him.

Understood. I really like tl;dr's highbrow aspect and I think we should live up to our name. I think we should also put a damper on adding more people to the clan unless their overdosed with swag.

I understand that I over stepped my bounds, but I would be more than happy to stay in the Irc and talk with you guys. Redundant, I didn't leave because I wanted to. You can say everything that you think I do wrong and I will try and work on it, but i would like to get to know you better and maybe we can be friends. If I don't seem like the kind of person you guys want in your clan then I will work on those qualities and come back when I am more mature.

And redundant you can be a asshole to me all you want, but I like this clan it seems like a good strong family. I have no issues with any of you. I would like to get to know you all better, but redundant if you think I should "fuck off" so you don't have to deal with my "pussy ass" then to bad. I will keep trying until I am good enough for this clan.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this here, but I wouldn't mind working out the issues with redundant if he is willing to do the same. I don't hold grudges and I'm an easy person to get along with and yes what he said hit a nerve that hasn't been hit in a long time. I'm sorry that I reacted the way I did, but as I said, I am willing to work out the problem if he is.

Thats true. We can create a thread for trial discussion to approve or not the trial member, a votation for it would be enough. I even had thought nick had passed his trial period. Implementing this ideia must avoid such misunderstandings.

Edit: My vote for Static keeps the same. Trial period for him. Just to remember you.

I think that a separate thread for discussing trial members would be a little bit overkill.

And for my vote for Static I also think that he should go into trial.
