AngelBeats follows the main character, Otonashi. Where he wakes up with amnesia in purgatory. This purgatory was made basically for teenagers who didn't fulfill their lives when they were alive. From being killed in a car crash, to being murdered in their own homes. It's a very upsetting anime. I cried like a bitch at the end. But it's pretty sad through out the entire show. But there is a lot of funny moments.

Yeah, Otonashi's story killed me, I didn't cry, but I sure as hell wanted to. Yui (girl who wanted to play sports). Her story wasn't the saddest, but Hinata talking to her about marriage, and then she disappears. Ouch...
The ending killed me with Naoi.
