I think you should do it as "matches won or lost or draw"
cause maybe they didn't win, but they have done like 5 fights loses and draws.
That wouldn't make sense, why would players who lose move ahead to the finals?
Having players get a certain amount of wins, means that several tributes need to die first, which is what is need to get to the finals.

I think the idea is they have to turn up to more, as if you lost 5, or drew 5 you would be out anyway
