i like your avatar
you have very clear idea of how to do hits
although i feel like you overused that grab in ae t23 for 4 and t53453
in the Ninja replay, i really liked that glute that just shot up
but again, i think that you should have let got off of uke after the first hit. keeping the grab is not necessarily bad, but in both cases i saw so far the replay slowed down significantly because you needed to turn around, prepare the kick, do the kick, spin around and repeat.
in my opinion, when people do predictable setups they should try to surprise the viewer with the hits. i usually either try to do an obnoxious amount of dms or just to do the hit in a different way, like a different angle or get a weirder setup. of course it needs to looks good, being janky and awkward is bad, but generally the way to give madmans more flavour is to try and do less orthodox hits and make them look good.
this is NOT to say that you shouldnt do so many dms in your replays though. literally all i did when i was learning was not give a shit about how my tori looked and try to make uke disappear. however if you focus on the aesthetic of the hits you will achieve a good balance between tons of dms and quirky setups/weird but cool hits
Thorns and sticks is obviously a dm focused replay but it looks surprisingly nice for one.
the insane right hand/elbow twitches that start at 430 are a clear sign that you know how powerful the elbow/wrist combo is for positioning whatever it is youre grabbing. not a big problem, i literally do this all the time because of how useful it is although i would like not to
i dont have anything else to say, nice replays
