It's written in python and has the source on github so if anyone's good at that sort of thing they could take a look at it and fix it up/get in contact with enikesha. I wouldn't imagine the replay files are that different but I haven't looked closely.

taking into account what Zockinator said, i think there must be some sort of difference between the replays created in the old and new versions of toribash. ill try to look into notepad and figure out

I played around a bit and figured that if you remove the line #!/usr/bin/toribash from old replays it wont be able to parse them. im assuming the script searches for specific lines to make sure its a replay file. i dont know what are the specific criteria it uses, but i imagine the replays made in the new versions are lacking a line or values that were present in the old replays
