Ranking changes
I'm updating our ranking system. Rankings will reset every month and only some servers will have ranking enabled on them.
Whats new from today:
- Only selected servers will be ranked. "This is a ranked server")
- Before ranked matches you'll get a message. "This is a ranked match (#rank vs #rank)"
- I've enabled ranking on the tourney1-8 servers. Admins can put ranking on any server they please.
Whats coming:
- On the 1st of August I'll clear the current rankings. Yes, all rankings will reset.
On the last of the month will be able to have special events for the best players of that month.
This is still in development so if you have any suggestions feel free to post in this thread.

If you someone bossed in the ultimate room, and another player bossed in the beginner. It wouldn't be fair for them to have similar ranks, would it? Specially, taking in mind the presence of alts. I have a very important suggestion:
Main idea: Mod variation.
I think the ranking system should be designed in a way so that the more mods one plays in or is good in..the better his rank.
Just comparing two extremes. One player that bosses in aikido.tbm should have a lower rank than a player who bossed in aikido.tbm/wushu/lenshu3ng... etc.
Are you aware that, if someone's elo is much lower than yours, you are expected to win the match, therefore if you do win, you get less rank points than if you had beaten someone of your level.
The concentration of extreme low ranks in a public room would make the grinding much more intense for high ranks to continue climbing.
Having the ultimate servers back on would help higher belts to find a worthy opponent of which rank will probably be much closer, making it more competitive and worth the win.
