This system is exactly the same as the previous one and achieves nothing more.
Just sell the game and do everyone a favour or start putting effort into updates.
It was horrendous, but you are supposed to make it better not worse.
Now, to get rank you have to sit in boring tournament servers.
It would be 100% better if it was in the public servers.
At least then instead of being bored while waiting you can at least attempt to streak and do something instead of being forced to sit there.
Alright.
So. First day of the rank reset. Everyone is playing to win. If everyone were to play to win, they would boost their elo up and inevitably get a high rank (such as 1-100). They would keep this rank until the end of the month (since they spent the first few days playing to win like no other) until the elo reset, and then chances are they would do it again. This is counter productive, and encourages really shitty play to win behavior. The state of in game fights is horrendous. That's all I really have to say on the topic.
That didn't make any sense. Making it only be in tournaments doesn't change the fact that people will still P2W. You could argue that those P2W tendencies were already in place in tournaments, but it has increased heavily. Also. You did not address the other points that I made.
