Ranking Rewards
Ranks where reset today and here are some updates.

Ranking rewards:
#1 globally ranked player at 23.30 CET will receive 2000 TC * day of the month.

Example:
5th of August the reward is 10,000 TC (2,000 TC * 5).
31 of August the reward is 62,000 TC (2,000 TC * 31).

Total amount of TC payed out in August will be 992,000.

Tournament1 to Tournament15 are ranked servers with various mods.

Ranked Black belt servers:
/join ranked2 - Judofrac
/join ranked3 - Lenshu3ng
/join ranked4 - ABD
/join ranked5 - ErthTK
/join ranked6 - Greykido

The GMs and admins will and can experiment with the server setup during the month.

A handy ingame command that list the current top ranked players and their ELO:
/ranking global

jack9918 and Zalf have both been on top for the first 4 days.

Zalf has played 116 games as #1
jack9918 has played 141 games as #1

We are keeping track for Elo ranges for future restrictions.

TBF I think the current #1 price is simply dumb. In a months span elo doesnt have time to properly balance itself out. This is just a complete farm fest atm. No top tier player is close to being on top rank atm. The tournament idea is much more viable, atleast before we get elo restricted rooms. Before elo restricted room, rank is just as meaningless as before. Lets be honest here, 3:1 or 2:1 W/L ratio should not be enough to be top rank when playing agaisnt "noobs"

At least it gets people focused on a small number of rooms, thats fun for me.
Also...
How about a 250k prize for rank 1 in 6 months in a row on 1 mod of the chosen ranked mods. Would that be fun?

I'm tracking the average Qi ranked players win against.

If anyone figures out a way to only play against whitebelts it will show.

2nd dan black belt without dueling experience is just a good to me as a blue belt when I'm playing them in erthtk. Noobfarming doesnt mean whitebelts, it means lesser skilled or average players. I can farm non-duelers who have less than 1k tk games all day. But that doesnt make me the best. That is not an accurate representation of skill. The top #10 atm (and which I am a part of.) has literally done nothing but noobfarmed. This isnt accurate by any means. To say that people like Zalf, Jack, Nerobe etc, are the actual top 10 is very not true.

Edit. im not saying that rankings should be changed, but the prizes should atleast before the elo restricted servers come up.

Edit 2: Im sure the players with the most games are the highest ranks atm.

Hampa have you got your head around how a real rank system works yet.
Cuz i get the feeling even after you attempt to add elo restrictions its gonna be a massive fail and you will do it all wrong again. Please listen to some of the people who have critisised this, because the majority seem to be right.

But I dont think naming great players that evryone know are good means anything or is an argument towards anything?
