WHY THE HELL DO TEACHERS DO THAT

I've never had to have summer reading or write a summer journal, but it's complete bullshit when I hear about people having to. Teachers do jack-all over the summer, but they give students things to do, even though they won't have the same teacher the next year. I hate it for you.

lol sky my dad is a teacher, most teachers have summer jobs because the school system doesn't pay teachers over summer, nor do teachers get enuf moneys to hold them over the summer.
on the note of summer assignments idk why they are a thing, i just do em in the first week and then im done, i think it is mostly a way to keep kids from ending up in jail.

last time i was there, we went to Chatham (a big pro gay area) and we got caught up in a gay pride parade, soo we watched and enjoyed. My little sister, who is a little more adventurous than me, decided to push her way forward to get a better view. at 10 years old she saw a guy parading on the street with assless chaps... what a wonderful memory.
