just got the confirmation that my tickets to Cannibal Corpse concert have been succesfully bought, Testament will open their show and I'm fucking excited but its only on november so I'll have to wait patiently, help me!

hey guys, I have been pretty inactive due to being away in scotland with no internet, however now finding Internet, in proud to see that you guys have kept posting! I'm surprised to see Galaxy back, but am hoping for good things, since I recognise the lack of fun and new interesting things to do in this org. Lyrics are silly and catchy, autotune making their quality "acceptable", etc.
Indeed, most of the Pop stuff is terrible.
I like Indie Pop, but there's a big, noticeable, difference between them.

I've been browsing and quickly scrolling through some of the other pages in this org. and I've seen Skylar posting LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends" some time ago. It's an awesome song. The intro is quite long, but, for some reason, that repetitive bass keeps me entertained. The lyrics, the chorus, everything is just great.
But, I'm not posting the same song, obviously.
Here, have another pretty lovable LCD Soundsystem song:
It's one of their best, honestly. Great lyrics, same weird, trippy, repetitive "techno" tune and that '80s mood.
They don't have many songs and not all of them have the same feeling, but, this was the one that made me discover LCD Soundsystem.

So I have 3 main reasons why I hate pop dance, and just pop in general.

At a young age, it's pretty unheard of to hear of a teenager around my area to not like this kind of music, but I understand why it's likeable. The lyrics are supposed to be meaningless because it's a dance song. You dance to it, not listen to it on your couch while playing a game or something. The beat was catchy and made on a computer to make it popular and easy to whip up.
But I feel music (and music in general) is losing its human element. You have autotune, timeline drums, samples and all that (unless the samples are used in accapella). I enjoy music that is mostly based around the person's skill because I know for a fact they took time writing their guitar solo, their lyrics, etc etc. this is also why I listen to a lot of metal, particularly progressive metal. Hearing the vocal tone change and knowing they didn't use autotune blows my mind.
