Well good God, man.

U.S. is taking them regardless since Obama wants to kill us or something.

Social media is showing woman and children when it comes to this, yet, 90% of refugees are military men. rip

"Every time. Every fucking time. Moral relativists, lol

There's a difference between blaming someone for having an opinion and defending yourself against an enemy who would stop at nothing to see you die and enslave your women/children."

Well, the situation is all relative depending from which point of view you try to see it. For "djihadists" and "terrorists", they see themselves as insurgents fighting against terrorist governments occupying their lands, forcing their culture upon them in order to get their hands on the natural ressources of that area. Our governments kill innoncent people as well, and a lot. People there are probably "more" scared of regular bombings and aistrikes than we are afraid of terrorists with AKs here.

Maybe the best way to "defend" ourselves would have been not to bring wars there in the first place, and maybe getting out of it now. Those attacks in Paris were retaliations aiming to sow the seeds of chaos inbetween non-muslim and muslim people in France. More hate is what the IS wants, to push people toward extremism(s), just like you now.

I'm not afraid of the IS, I'm way more afraid of the islamophobia, the nationalism and securitarian ideas creeping up.

"Get a grip"

You guys are the ones being all reactionary and emotional about it, don't think that's the best way to take reasonnable and clear-minded decisions. You just wallow in fear, hate and resentment, no logic.

We all do mate, we all do.

But some think the solution lies within violent retaliations, more seclusion, more war... but war never changes.
Others think the solution lies within education, peace, and getting out of the imperialist ideology of the western countries going to war to support an economic-political system creating outrageous inequalities around the world, fuel for hatred.

The mass hysteria and paranoia in this thread is crazy. Also to say how the media brainwashes us... How? I don't watch tv all my information is second hand and from you guys. Big bad America can't be that good at brainwashing or we had have taken the world and cleaned it up awhile ago.

As far as I can tell, the war wouldn't be that huge, it may go down In History, but seriously this isn't going to be a heavy weight battle like America vs Europe, it's nowhere near on that scale like which country is siding with ISIS, who are their allies, that won't get rocked by drones and such, No One. sounds like you guys are afraid of a few roaches that need to be stomped out. Cowards hiding behind innocent civilians. There will always be Extremists to eradicate, Even if we lived in peace, It's the way it is, humans are violent all ways will be and always was. Especially those with massive populations of religious folk know all about violence unless they swept their history under the rug.

It also makes me wonder how many countries won't go to war when Big Bad America Is breathing down the worlds neck. Guys, this country is the keystone of the world, when It falls everything else will too, the hate that isn't acted upon in fear of getting your homes blown up will be unleashed.

Don't you see the irony ?

Also, the situation in middle-east with ISIS is more complicated that you seem to think. No countries give military support to ISIS, but they still get support from illegal oil trades, and buying weapons from countries who officially fight them ; some countries & groups who fight ISIS also fight each other (Syria and rebels vs ISIS, and Syria vs Rebels, and Turks vs Kurds, and Russia supporting Syria vs UN bombing Syria etc... It's a total mess).
And "stomping the roaches" implies bombings that will take more innocent lives who have nothing to do with ISIS, which means a new cycle of hatred from people who'll lose close family & friends, radicalisation will keep going and some other groups will replace ISIS, you can't kill an idea. Before ISIS there were many disparate extremist groups (and Al Qaeda, financed by the CIA to fight soviets in Afghanistan in the 80's...), and after ISIS there will be others.

Yes that's crazy. Don't know if it's good crazy or bad crazy tho ; it's an emmotional reaction, and good rationnal decisions rarely come out of those.

Bob, ISIS is a group of people who believe they are the true Muslims. They twist the meaning of the sixth duties of Islams. Jihād, is an Islamic term referring to the religious duty of Muslims to maintain the religion. In Arabic, the word jihād is a noun meaning "to strive, to apply oneself, to struggle, to persevere".

Islam extremists think the meaning of Jihad is Religious war, which, sadly, people use it like that today, for example the news media.

Its important to bear in mind that IS control an area of land larger than that of Britain, and all their resources are pooled into terror/war. So its fair to say they could have as much military power as some countries. Just something to bear in mind
Don't dm me pictures of bowls that you find attractive.

I can't get behind the separatist mindset people seem to have - just because you're lucky enough to be born in a Western country that isn't torn asunder by war does not mean their lives are worth any less than yours. That said, I think it's ironic that an American would make a statement like this that a) implies refugees are the problem and b) alludes to you being safe from terrorist attacks considering the fact you (America) were the target of 9/11. Those planes were hijacked from Massachusetts and flown into New York in what many would say was the most striking act of terror in your history (that you were the victims of, at least). Nobody is safe from this absolute bullshit and your air of "me, myself and mine" does nothing but add fuel to a fire that burns in their favour.

I never said Refugees are the problem. I didn't say they started any of this. I realize that they're running away from "our enemy", but it's the fact that so many are going to be coming. I think we, as Americans, should worry about our own people first. Our homeless and less fortunate, before they come here and start stealing jobs from other people who were born citizenship.

I feel bad for the people who were forced away from their homelands, I really do. America isn't even the only place getting them. Germany, other European counties, etc. Are also taking in these people. Germany caught suspected ISIS members at their airport disguised as a refugees. No one is safe.

"Dear reader, I hope this email finds you before I do."
Drone bombings are probably the leading cause of deaths in this struggle more than the Muslim extremists themselves. They really need to be more precise in what they target.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/04/wo...rs-kunduz.html

Also, as for the refugees they are actual refugees, they aren't hidden terrorists or anything. I do agree on stripping them of any shady devices and articles. but again, does the United States want to repeat what had happened back during World War II? The Internment camps with all the Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos? Putting these people in a camp isn't any better than what occurred back in 1942. History repeats itself.
There are 12 Million Syrians, HALF of which are children. All of them risked their lives to flee to Europe, I'd say every nation if they truly think level-headedly can come up with a strategy to resolve this issue.
A strategy plan?:
There'd have to be an evacuation system to prevent further catastrophes involving over-crowded ships. This system would have to be guarded and have another checkpoint beforehand to assure everyone is safe before loading the evacuation ships. They would check for any electronic devices and strange carry-on. One can't assume that no ISIS or other terrorist member wouldn't try to smuggle themselves into a country. before they load the ship they would carry the articles in a separate ship to keep all passengers safe from any false "Bomb" threats since there wont be any luggage on the main refugee ship. When they unload the luggage it should be thoroughly examined and from then on the country should come up with a strategy plan from there. I'd say offer these people jobs and help them adapt and not just merely give them free help, one always has to contribute to something. Whether it might be teaching a new language to people, or teaching about Syrian culture, anything!

I wish all the Syrian refugees well, and hope for a peaceful safe journey.
I am evil.

Those gangs are a whole other story, there causes began good and they let evil and greed lead them to where there at today. Now if there was an actual strategy on getting rid of them it would be to do "remove" crips (which can never happen unless everybody in the gang just decides to quit); because the Piru street gang or the "Bloods" are only there to abolish Crips.
