Monkey, I hate doing grab tricks, just seems unfair to me tbh but the replays were a nice representation

i mentioned locking down arms in a previous post. in the first replay i make use of dominant grabs to finish a throw. the second replay shows a hand pin. i mostly use hand pins to try and ball up my opponent immobilize a limb for a turn or at the very least disrupt the ghost. once you have secured a hand pin you are one step ahead of the game. you know they either have to let go or leave grab there adding more stress to the body. if its a self grab you know you can ungrab and be safe from a regrab. see 4th replay. also you can pass off grabs to the other hand. see third reaply
does anyone employ the use of grab tricks? if so what ones?

TLDR: grab tricks are fun. learn them early.

You're right. I never think about but i use these little tricks also. There's nothing cheap about it in my opinion.

Yes exactly. Keep practicing on uke, I noticed your feet are very distance from Uke's which is why your throw looks a little weird. Try getting closer like in my examples. When you get something similar to mine, post it and we'll go from there.

Also dont use that size 5 font its obnoxious.

I got this hip throw earlier, sort of like an uchi mata. Also, I would like for us to work on sweeps along with hip throws.

I like the low throws they're always a finisher.

Hey I haven't seen your hip throws yet lets seem 'em.

I'm sure if you search the board you'll find some crappy replays that resemble a hip throw.
Very nice. Very good Bushido style throws. Snake would like those for sure.

Kicks aren't wrong at all. I would say as long as you're controlling your're opponent it would help to push them along in the throw direction. But if someone has a free hand they might grab your kick which could fuck up your footing even on the other standing leg. I seen it.

And the extra damage is a plus too. You never know if the match will go to points.

Looks perfect! Lets see that in multiplayer.

Heres an older harai goshi of my own using footwork to set it up.

Got this today.

I start by blocking my opponent's low kick.
His momentum was already moving towards back left corner so i use that to lift him off the ground and behind me.
I set my feet under him, hips ready.
I let go with my rear arm and use an under hook to execute the hip throw.
Its not an immediate DQ but i crouch to keep him pinned.

Sorry but it looks like the aquita's demostration of a hip throw.
And today in-game you said "keep your body hold and check my hip throw" (and you did the same move that you have in your replay without variations)
And in my house i was like ".-. rlly nigga"

(Sorry again for the invade but i had to say it :P)

Looks good dude. Keep practicing and you'll be hitting it in multiplayer in no time.

Does anyone understand what it's trying to say?

SrBognanno probably followed my tutorial which is why it looks like my demonstration.
