Bad news
so last night around 4 am i got called by my friend Ian's parents, and well. he's dead. he commited suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot. i've known him for 8 years and he was always there for me when i needed someone the most and it hurts to see him gone. he was like a brother to me and we will all miss him. Rest in peace Ian. 1998-2015. I could use some support because like i said i lost a friend that was like a brother to me. anything is welcome.

From my experience, there is nothing that can possibly be a consolation. Nothing can quite compare to someone's life. However, you are not alone and your friend did not abandon you. He abandoned himself. There was nothing you could do. This may feel crushing for a while, but it will eventually liberate you. It's not your fault. You are still surrounded with people that love you. Take their embrace when it's offered.

I kinda know how you feel bro, during grade 9 someone really close to me attempted suicide and I blamed myself for a long time, it was really hard. I can't even think of the pain you must be going through right now. As Hannw said we are here for you so if ya ever need to chat we are here <3

now you crow, how is a gif of a yoyo going to help anyone? you might've thought that it was funny at the time but it isn't. Yes, i noticed that he's probably depressed and needs some cheering up to do, but that's not the right way to cheer someone up. In these situations, he needs support, not gif's of yoyos.
