he fixed your link, also yeah, although I don't really like alice in chains and pretty much the rest of that genre, the phrase 'some depression to make people happy' is really goddamn true. many of the musical greats had produced some of their best work when they were depressed or had a mental condition, I guess it just made the music feel so honest and close to the heart of certain listeners who know what it's like while the rest of people seem to find it appealing nonetheless even though they don't know the context. /overanalysis
