Dog drags his wounded friend off the highway
Just seen it on the Russian news and thought I'd share it.
A dog in South America dodges cars while trying to help his wounded pal by dragging him to the side. Self preservation instinct be damned.
Unfortunately, his efforts were fruitless, as his companion was later found dead from sustained injuries.

Yeah, i always knew animals were capable of things like that.
Otherwise why are there so many cases of dolphins saving drowning humans?
To the dolphin's well-being, does it make a difference if some joe drowns? Nope.
That must mean they are motivated by compassion.
Of course, dolphins and dogs are some of the more intelligent animals.
