I just don't think either of you are taking this very seriously. I feel like I'm the only one that recognizes that the clan may be fun, but in the whole grand scheme of things we're pretty pathetic. We're a clan that barely has a handful of active members with no particular achievements of mention, we're dying all the time and we never do anything about it. And here you guys act like all we need to do to be deserving of official status is reach a certain page. Not just you, Gabe. Don too. He's under the illusion all we need to do is be forum active and disregards the actual game entirely. Sorry for my lack of motivation for getting anything done, but honestly what's it going to help. We can get superficial things done like work on ranks and banners, but what does that actually directly affect? What we need is to get the members we already have more active and we need more members. We have only a fraction of our actually active members in our Skype chat and the people that refuse to be in the Skype chat don't want to be IRC active either. Right now all we have is the oldies in the clan circlejerking and having a good time while it feels like the rest of the clan just isn't in the loop with us.

I know I'm super all over the place, it's just that all my thoughts in general about this are a little jumbled up and the fact that I don't even want to put in the effort to address it doesn't make it easier.

I'll continue putting in effort when I have other people working with me that actually want to put in effort as well. Right now we have a bunch of people throwing around useless, empty ideas that they themselves don't want to follow through with - but no actual progress. Just to throw this out there... I worked (quite intensively) with Abel to try to get our event off the ground, and even though Abel quit before we could follow through with it entirely, I was happy to help as much as I did. I saw someone with a good idea who had the initiative to pull it off and I made sure I did all I could to help. Try to follow his example.

I just earlier moved members around. We have 13 people in the clan who aren't 'clan accounts' or in the inactive rank. There are more people I'm looking to move. There's a place to start. Get into a habit of warring every night. Do something.

I'll PM Zwift right now and ask him for his Skype or work with him over the forums to get this done.

I've already told you what needs to be done for me to greenlight our application for official. Hell, I'll even take the "me not hating being here" prerequisite.

Pretty much what Pouffywall said is on the money, but instead of just adding to that body of text with the same information I'll give you guys some small stuff you can work on to help get the ball rolling.

-Talk to people in game and get them to apply. You don't have to have have a high rank in the clan to get people to apply for us, just talk to players you think are cool and get them to apply. Now don't take it too far and stalk people, just casually talk to people you see about it.

-Post on the god damn forum more. Yes forum activity might not be the main thing for official, but it is a factor and its part of being a clan. If you're going to join a clan you need to be part of its community and not some antisocial fagoat. Talk to us via the Forum, irc, or skype, just do something.

-Passion, yeah its a thing trust me. If you can just show a fragment of passion for this clan then that passion will rub off on others, trust me. You can't just leave everything up to the executive members, be a go getter and try to help the clan in any way you can. Go in game and make a room called Spec and just play with people and get our name out there more. Literally anything you can do will help.

Okay I'll make a /jo Spec room for you all to hang out in then. I'll be spectating for now though while I handle some important stuff. Gotta finalize my event with Sparky and get fucking Pouffywall to stop being a lazy piece of shit and actually talk to me about the ranks. Thats right I'm calling him out publicly.

I kinda wanna play in more GMTourneys, but I just don't love Toribash as that much anymore so I don't just sit ingame to actually see when the tourneys are starting. Really would like to compete in more events like that though.
