I've lost roughly 50k from crashing or ghosting. I would appreciate this.

As long as you get a notification in a private chat saying "blah blah blah won and money handed out". I wouldn't like people leaving and rejoining again for the sake of checking who won.

the only bad thing i can see with this is people trying to break the system somehow.

like they could bet on one person, leave, log on to an alt, and bet on the other person. although i cant really see a benefit from doing that

either way, i support it because it would prevent a lot of pointless tc sinking

I support this, the Servers for toribash have been iffy as hell lately and players end up getting DC'ed even if there is nothing wrong on their side.

Hompo for the god sakes and our sakes make this happen'. I think i had sank over 100k in betting servers just because pings or lag.

I really think this should be implemented. It's incredibly frustrating to lose your TC when the reason you pinged in the first place is someone else's shitty connection lagging the server.

Maybe he could implement it so that if you bet and leave on purpose, you don't get your tc if your guy wins, but if you ping, your bet still stands?

you bet on someone and you ping but the tc is still in the pool and is connected to your acc so when the match ends you still get the tc if the person won?

The tc is distributed throughout the room. If you pinged, you can't earn it. Same goes with if you leave or are kicked. It's really not that hard. Would you want someone who got kicked for trying to do something illegal getting their tc even though they were out of server? I certainly would not. Sure, pinging sucks, but you bet at your own risk.

I suppose if you make it only work for pings (which is totally exploitable, btw) it would be remotely acceptable, but still bad.

Your argument is one about spite towards people who break the rules. Quite frankly, users shouldn't be subject to that bias. People spend money on the game and deserve their worth more than rule breakers deserve to be shamed.
