Item Forgers are Recruiting!
Hey dudes! The Item Forgers are back again with another recruitment drive.
We’re once more looking for talented individuals to help adorn the community with new snazzy things!
What are the Item Forgers & what will be expected of you?
The Item Forgers are in charge of creating sweet new items for the community to enjoy.
They create many things, such as colors, hairs, misc items, 3D objects and more!
Requirements
Of the requirements, activity is probably the most important one. You probably shouldn't apply if you don’t have some free time laying around.
You’re gonna need a clean background, we need people whom we can trust, we wouldn’t want anyone leaking, now would we?
And last but not least, Modeling/and or Texturing experience. If you wish to become an Item Forger, you’re required to be able to create some sort of content, whether that be in the form of texturing or 3D modeling. Alongside modeling and texturing, it's also encouraged to have some sort of background experience working with UV's.
While creating your application, make sure to include examples of your work, whether that’s texturing or 3D Modeling. When it comes to examples, remember, it’s more the merrier!
Any application sent in without examples of their work will be immediately declined.
All applications are to be sent to either Icky, Orko or Fates!
This drive will be coming to a close on the 8th of May, expect results shortly after

Yes, 3D items aside from hairs are created using external programs such as blender.
Item Forgers are recognized just like any other staff group that doesn't have a colored name. Their names will be listed alongside the other non-forum staff where it's applicable. Alongside that, they also receive a user-title.
Alongside that, the Item Forgers have access to the rewards system much like the Event Squad Artists. The only requirement for accessing this reward system is doing your job. Although I won't go into detail as to what this is, it's there nonetheless.

You said activity is important, so quick question about that.
If someone applies to be a texture artist the help texture models made by others then what would they be expected to do in their down time since they can't work until given a model to texture?

We don't just model from our own ideas, we also make models that were suggested by the community itself in the Item Forgers News thread, like the Deal With It, Mustaches, Duckbill[from a petition], hairs...there are a LOT of suggestions that we really like to deliver to the community.
You choose if you want to work together, but if you don't know how to texture and such, then you could give it to one of the artists and we would be more than glad to work with your models.
