This tavern brawl...
I tried Innervate + Naturalize, found it was too slow. Lost to a mage who uses Fireball/Ice Block. Won my first won with Naturalize + Earthen Ring Farseer. I figured healing + mill = win.
Some notable OP combos I've read so far are:
1) Coldlight Oracle + Innervate
2) Ice Block + Torch
3) Innervate + Yshaarj
4) Mechwarper + Iron Sensei
Additionally, in exciting meta news, the #1 ranked player in the US ladder achieved so from Control Warrior today. No C'thun Cards. In fact, the only Whispers of the Old Gods cards ran in it were 1 copy of Ravaging Ghoul and 2 copies of Bloodhoof Brave. Think the biggest notable change is that there are no armorsmiths, I guess because it's just not meta anymore. Nearly every competitive 1 or 2 mana drops being played either have 3 health, or already served their purpose if they don't (discover a deathrattle, discovery a 1 mana card, draw a card, etc.)
What's interesting is Zoo and Shaman decks ran a huge portion of the meta for climbing ladder lately. The slower control deck being N'Zoth paladin sitting on the outside looking in, and Miracle Rogue existing somehow despite the meta. Frost mage SHOULD see some return into the meta as it's a deck that lost the least amount of cards to it's core and traditionally does well against aggro decks; however, we haven't seen too much of it yet. Historically, when Warriors become out of hand, we start to see quite a bit of Ramp Druid to combo against it; however, I don't know what's the smart play against CW now that Combo is out of Ramp Druid.
Should be interesting! Maybe the answer to Control Warrior is N'Zoth Priest. Maybe Xixo's Totem Shaman will prove to be the mid range that gives it trouble.
