[ART] Live Human Sculpting; The Beginning of an Artistic Revolution
Although it may not seem like it, I believe I am quite the art revolutionist. I am constantly experimenting, trying new techniques, and breaking down the arbitrary walls placed by society that separate the artist from true artistic expression.
For my most recent piece, I collaborated with two well known southern Californian artists, Leonard (read Leonardo) Rubix, and Miss Irery Toofurun. We all have a burning passion for modern art, and believed that our minds could combine to create a mind blowing work of true genius.
After long consideration, we decided to try something no one in the art world has ever done before,
sculpting a human canvas. Using a living being as the base, we would generously apply a moist paste consisting of refined granite rock, and the mulched skeletal remains of various marine life. Then, we would meticulously carve and sculpt away, creating a work that highlighted the true beauty of the human form. The only question was, who would be the one to become a living masterpiece? Leonard, arguably the most daring artist of the bunch, was willing to sacrifice his physical body so that Irery and I could carve out a staircase to artistic nirvana.
