when you play csgo with maby a browser tab + teamspeak open you use maby 7-10 mbit.
If you have a decent connection there should be no problem.

You should check if you actually have high enough speed in the first place, if this is always a problem.
the only things I have running is csgo and steam nothing else
whenever I do the speed test I get around 9-12 ping 30-35 download and upload speed

if this helps any :<

well if it's a CS problem you can lower the tick rate, makes the game feel a little bit delayed but technically playable.

but given that you have such up/down speeds it could potentially a problem somewhere else, are you connected by cable or using wifi? using a lan connection could speed things up.

wifi, I tried going wired but my parents don't really understand tech. and they though I was fucking the thing up so they hid the cable :< while I was wired the internet was fucking bliss

and on other games where I can check my ping its usually around 100 :<

i jjust checked around the modem for the Ethernet cable and i found the modem we use and a smaller modem called Actiontec hidden under some cables, it was plugged in, after a quick google search its a fucking dsl modem, maybe that was leeching bandwith?

I don't see how you can be blaming your Internet for csgo lagging. I got 15 mbps tops (which basically means I got 2 mbps 99% of the time) and never had any issues with lag at all. Either you router is very inconsistent, thus making the actually numbers shown very unreliable, or something in your computer is behind, causing a lot of problems.

Or you're just too entitled to accept any ping at all.
I get around 100-200 ping on avg I have the max ping requirement for csgo mm set to 50 :/

I now have it at around 50 so I consider that improvement
