Please bear with me, I don't post here all that often nor give my opinion all that much until here recently. So I apologize for that. I just don't feel like my opinion is needed at this point, but just wanted to say something anyways.

And for Ponzo: Actually we grew up until here as an elite organization, from a complete liberal system with nothing else than just having fun in aikido to some standardized and recognized movements and styles, still liberal and having fun, and that's why we're an org of aikido. That's why we exist. Also people don't need to join the org to learn what we teach: threads are open, techniques are not secret. They should be encouraged to become good players so they come in and help us to evolve.
Yes, I mentioned this before as well. People joining for the reason of having a goal to be part of this organization is better than just saying, "well, people gotta start somewhere, we can teach him." and such. I don't wan't people just fucking off from this place once they've joined. I am glad you see it that way too.

Everybody joins Team Aikido with the purpose of getting better. But you don't need to be a useless shit in toribash to get in. Getting some padronized forms in TA brought inovation, better members and visibility in the community. Going back to free form will make us go downstairs instead of upstairs.
First off, I like Aquita being a leader. He is a great person. Just not seeing eye to eye with him here and there, it happens. But he is the leader for a reason (like you stated). We aren't dead yet, and if I must say. We are more alive now than before.
Now, wouldn't you think a freeform system of applying shows commitment in someone wanting to join instead of filling out some damn skeletal notes?

I agree, Freeform is best form.
i also agree, Personal feelings are a key point. Even if you know them, and they are good. Commitment is a key point as well. Everyone needs to be
tested either with in game testing or with their replays. No personal feelings should be part of the voting process. I am glad that council is in charge of that now.

Yeah, Bushido i believe was the name. I don't think replays should be a requirement. But if it must be, can't ingame testing be the next best thing?
