Here's another option.
Go from ddr3 ram to ddr4 with a higher frequency (ddr4 ram is a bit faster than ddr3)

Also a keyboard, and mouse.

Very bare minimum motherboard however, so doesn't offer much for upgrades in the future.

EDIT: Also, I did throw in a DVD/CD Writer because you will most likely need the optical drive to instal drivers for your monitor, gpu, and motherboard (however if you have one already in your current PC you can use that one)

Also do note if you're wanting to play say Battlefield one at recommended/highest graphics with really good FPS (144fps or higher, it's not gonna happen with this build)

No Mongius removed it. Not my fault or his though. Apparantly Smag made a bad list and that is what I was optimizing. Anyway Mongius' build seems solid. Could get a bronze PSU for good measure. Also guys are we sure he needs a build this powerful and he isn't over-killing by accident?

He could get a cheaper build and save money if he doesn't need this much power though but it all depends on the extent of his use for this build.

All right fair enough just making sure he knows he can get by and save more if he decides to go for a cheaper build.

^ Little adjustment to your build (seeing as if he wanted to, he could use old harddrive from older PC and tbh 500GB should be enough for him anyways on an SDD and at least another 500GB on his old harddrive.

But yes, I tried to give him a full build with everything he could possibly need with little to no effort in doing extra things/workarounds. I've got nothing against your build though \o/
It's all personal preference and what he's willing to do. I really wished though they had motherboards with Lga 1150 sockets that support DDR4

Building a computer and buying certain parts within a budget all comes down to what you're willing to sacrifice to fit that budget.
I personally choose to sacrifice SSD/HDD read/write speeds as I don't see them as that import considering I don't do much transferring between them.

Yeah I'll be using the 500B for my build. A good one to look into Kirito but you could get by with lower wattage.
