if you're getting a gtx 1070, 500W should be enough

Suo very detailed but try layman terms as well for the sake of it not flying over his head. Basically Suo said depending on what resolution your monitor is you can get cheaper parts. I'd recommend a Skylake i5 CPU w/ Pre-Pascal or Lower Pascal GPU.
