Try explaining why this is a good idea, I dont see any good use of this function.

I guess it could somewhat work, but it doesnt seem too practical how you described it.

The ingame irc chat idea thing is a good way of implementing this.

In-game irc is not practical at all, and very unrelated to a mass whisper function.

An irc is not a whisper function.

it would kick people who spammed of course, if the devs didnt implement this originally it would happen and they would most likely do it then. tb has one for ingame chat already why not use it here too?
