What method do you guys use for playing toribash?

I use the scroll-wheel for extending and contracting and x for hold and relax (and ofc the c and v sometimes when needed).
And because of that i have problem when using my laptop without a mouse, I've been trying to use the trackpad and the z and x method but it does not feel as fast to me.

What works the best for you guys and why do you use it?

Scrolling is so much faster than clicking tho, and if you missclick on click too much you have to click even more

Start using x for hold and relax, I used to play like you until I tried playing with scroll and x, works a lot smoother for me tbh

My Toribash tactics: click like a madman. Also jam some keys occasionally for holding, relaxing or gripping when I can't reach my hand.
