Melody is pretty on.

I'd just say to level your sounds out better. It might be just me but some sounds and frequencies sound a bit too loud or not loud enough.

Also I'd probably either EQ the 808 to sound a little less gritty or just change it in general but that's just my opinion.

The 808 is suppose to be like that, added distortion to it so it wouldn't sound like the standard spinz 808, and I feel like I did an ok job on leveling, if I can listen to a track full volume then I feel like I leveled it pretty nice. But thanks home.

I donr have like studio quality head phones BTW.
bassline's dece, nice mixing, melody just doesn't sound original, i know it's hard to get an original melody these days, but just 3 repetitive notes for me doesn't cut it, the snare sounds like a decent snare line, but it sounds processed, mix that shit make it flow.

otherwise the shits gas
The snare just sounds like that lol. No better way of mixing it. And it's actually 4 KEYS FYI NOOB. (C F G# D, and C, D#, G, C)
Nope, I don't. It just takes practice. I got all of my knowledge from videos so try watching some.

It doesn't matter. Making appealing melodies in particular is something that will best come with practice. That shouldn't keep you from putting together a beat. That sort of perfectionism doesn't make you better at making music, it keeps you from making music at all.

@bands that beat is nice. all the timbres and effects fit in super well with the melody/arpeggiation. i'd say that's really the only interesting part of it tho tbh
