guys i acually did something more advanced on a car then just changing spark plugs and breaks i replaced belts in my little sisters car (witch btw is a nightmare to do in a 97 miata) it was p fun XD

im not i dont do to much real work on cars just a lot of smaller things im a welder but i like tinkering with cars better ( other then all the sparks you get from angle grinding before the weld ofc)

Well, to me it sounds like you’re having more fun fiddling with cars. So go for the one you’d enjoy most in the longrun.

i enjoy both a lot tbh and thats what makes it so hard to figure out.... plus the fact that i dont have as much time welding as working with cars so i dont know how long i would enjoy welding but i do like it just as much atm and it makes so much more money in the long term (i.e. better paying jobs when you get experiance)

I guess it's something you're gonna have to figure out on your own. Don't rush your decision.
