Animal Testing is necessary in order to study biological elements or viruses; within time, these can potentially help combat an epidemic saving even more animal's lives.
The future of veterinary medicine relies on this.

OR

Animal Testing is completely inhumane and unethical.
Other systems should be implemented or invented to test and study diseases such as a virtual virus replicator or artificial organic models of animals.

Don't have much thought to put into this, but I do agree on your neutral stance, as inhumane as it is, it does bring so many benefits. I can't really imagine how far we'd be if we didn't sadly use animals for our experiments.

The world wouldn't be half as advanced as it is now if we didn't do 'inhumane things'. I absolutely believe using animals for testing drugs is the way to go, unless you want to use humans instead, which is arguably worse. Otherwise when your child or family member catches an evolved chicken pox and we have no working vaccines, you can be happy you weren't inhumane to the animals that would have been used to test it.

I feel like this question depends mainly on your moral standing. While what you said is "correct", it can be still viewed as selfish on many levels, such as the belief of human lives being more paramount than that of animals. But if we are going down the inhumane route, we breed animals for these experiments. Mind giving a reason why we couldn't do the same with humans/why this is a worse idea? The only real reasons I can think of are the differences in the length of our life cycles and the cost of it all. There is really no right answer, it's all opinion based. So I'm staying neutral for the most part

It's a give and take of course. As previously mentioned above, we wouldn't be anywhere near to where we are today in society medicaly and overall without the testing/experiments we have done with animals.
