anyway, most of "gangster" animes are just plain stereotypes from western gangs or rapey eastern gangs.

i dont even know an anime that did it right.

It really depends on what you define as a gangster anime... Since I'd consider Akira to be in this category as one of the main protagonists is part of a biker gang... and Black lagoon definitely did it right.

Banana Fish is alright in context of this season... but it just doesn't keep me coming back for more like other shows.

drrr is watchable but i dont consider it above average, and baccano is slightly better than drrr in my opinion.

akira and black lagoon are classics, im sure you get it.. both were innovative and not "repetitive" like thousands of gangster shows or movies.. air gear was also good back then.

plz guys, recommend me stuff.. i need anime, the best you've ever seen
