I think this whole thread can be solved with one question, is Toribash actually in danger of being shut down? What people really want is reassurance that the community they've spent years contributing to and getting invested in isn't going to be erased overnight.

we actually do need the passion that Szaszuniya displayed when typing an encyclopedia of why he cares if we want this game to last a little longer after it's already given so much
Thank you for acknowledging anything I may have typed.
I can speak for myself always, however as the players whom have come before me and after me, there will be people with their own sense of passion, and what they consider their passion for the game, some may not want to or be able to type up an entire post like I did, but I know there are some players out there that can just understand from a distance.
I think papes is right on wanting to have a realistic outlook or climax to the overall question for this thread, I may not be able to answer it, however I am in my early 20's and I would love to see this game out in my 30's, I try to tell people IRL all the time about the game and I even had a few friends who would never even touch the game play xspar with me and learn backflips with my assistance for about 2-3 hours every now and then, while we chilled out during our end of semester college breaks.

i saw in some hampa interview a while back he has no intentions of ever shutting toribash down
