Ranking changes
I'm updating our ranking system. Rankings will reset every month and only some servers will have ranking enabled on them.

Whats new from today:
- Only selected servers will be ranked. "This is a ranked server")
- Before ranked matches you'll get a message. "This is a ranked match (#rank vs #rank)"
- I've enabled ranking on the tourney1-8 servers. Admins can put ranking on any server they please.

Whats coming:
- On the 1st of August I'll clear the current rankings. Yes, all rankings will reset.

On the last of the month will be able to have special events for the best players of that month.

This is still in development so if you have any suggestions feel free to post in this thread.

Now that we have it you're whinging that it's a bad update, are you fucking serious?

Don't know about you, but I thought the old rank system was horrendous, and now that it's changed you guys 'don't have anything to play for' and hampa should 'sell toribash'

Plus lots of people will play to win, doubt it will be as small as 100, the players in the top 100 will change from month to month, just because of the amount of people trying to be rank 1.

What is this? Are you guys serious? I was under the impression that this would be a thought out process. That Gms would think about this update, have discussions of how to make it work. And now that it's launched its utter shit. Just a reset slapped on and hastily put on the tourneys. Some aikido tourneys for ranking? What the fuck? First of all tourneys are the most boring and slowest way to play. I dont want to wait 15 minutes every time i want to play a ranked match. Second of all theres 4 mods, aikido (arguably not even comepitive), judo (seriously wtf), lenshu and boxshu, who thought that out? The under performance of this is incredible. Please fix this asap. Even the old system was 10x better. And this is not "anything the staff does, people will complain", this is a step to the wrong direction.

Some new information:

There are now some new ranked servers up and running for blackbelts - ranked1-5

For now, they're just the CL mods (greykido, judofrac, lenshu and erthtkv2) and ABD until the competitive clan mod list has been released, and then we'll be in a good position to make some adjustments.

Also, you'll notice a few new tournament servers have gone up too - these are also ranked.
