How do you guys like the new Youtube? do you think this way is better, worse or have you not noticed it yet? Either way it is what they are sticking with....I personally dislike it but will probably get used to it. The positioning of the video description annoys me.... Your thoughts? plus i liked the old stars system more then this annoying thumbs up thumbs down thing

I've had it for a few months now, got dragged into the beta kicking & screaming.

There's loads about the new one that irritates the hell outa me, mostly the stupid automatic video changing through subscriptions. If I tell it to play a video I mean THAT video, not the other 20 that I've ignored. >_>

I do agree that the rating system is crap, replies to comments only started working last month & it's retarded sticking them on top of all the other comments. The old youtube was better.

Induring the youtube dev team realising they weren't needed anymore after perfecting the style of the site and so deliberately giving it a pointless and ugly makeover in order to stay employed.

Youtube is going down the shitter anyway. Having to watch ads to view a lot of popular videos, WMG removing pretty much all the good music for ''copyright infringement'', a lack of pornography and possibly the worst online community in existence make youtube a godawful place. Unsurprisingly, the site designed to be a free video sharing medium has turned into another cumbersome cash cow that gets raped by WMG everyday. I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to make it even worse in the next few years.

I think the old youtube style was better. The only thing that I like of the new style is that you can search up a video and still watch the previous one.

And I don't if this is just me or everybody else. But, have you noticed, that if you don't have the mouse in the video screen. The video lags? The sound is alright but the picture doesn't follow the right time. But like I said, I don't know if this is just me or not.

Terrible change.
I used to love that site above all others. Now I may as well go to digg.com or something.
If you read their blog responses, 90% of people hate the change, but i doubt they will reverse it.

I partly agree with you Odlov. They probably changed Youtube for some reason they thought was good. But I'd like to know what that reason was for. With all change, comes good and bad. I agree that they won't change it back. I also disagree that it was a terrible change. I don't think it was a good change, but not terrible.

They changed it because they want money. No video description space = more room for advertisements.

No, I don't think so. I think the only way to get it back to the original layout is if enough people complain about the new layout. But even if enough people do that. They probably still won't change it back.

People are spamming comments (which the layout SUCKS) about the layout. People are complaining in the comment section of a really big video that everyone watches.

Now, I hate it. I can't get to my playlist anymore with just one click, I have to go to my favorites > Playlist. (I'm pretty damn lazy.) You can't see the description at the right anymore, so I can't lookat Lyrics AND the video at the same time, so, that's irritating.

Hope they give you an option to change it back like they did with channels. (Which they removed, amirite?)
